Comments - Lovely kakemono or vertical diptych of a beauty carrying an umbrella as she walks along, a package tucked under one arm. Her blue kimono is patterned with Genji symbols and hollyhock leaves, tied with a black obi that reverses to a brown chrysanthemum print. She smiles as she looks to the side, her hair pulled back into a neat bun with a few loose strands framing her face. An attractive design, beautifully suited to the narrow kakemono format. A great choice for display.
