Kanadehon Chushingura - Handsome print from Toshiaki's series "Kanadehon Chushingura" depicting the famous 47 ronin and their quest to avenge their master's death. These images feature realistically drawn figures in nicely detailed settings, and some include deluxe publishing techniques such as embossing or burnishing. A nicely printed Meiji era series illustrating this timeless tale of honor and revenge.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight separation at ends of vertical centerfold, a couple tiny holes along fold, repaired. Slight soiling, slight rubbing at edges, a few creases, paper slightly curled. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
