Comments - Attractive scene of Princess Joruri standing in the doorway of a palace, shyly holding her sleeve to her chin as the young samurai Ushiwakamaru, later known as Minamoto no Yoshitsune, serenades her with his flute. According to the story, Ushiwakamaru came across the beauty's home while traveling, becoming entranced by the beautiful young maiden, and the pair fell in love. A charming design with wonderful architectural detail.
