Fujieda, circa 1833 - 1834 - Lively scene of travelers and porters stopping to exchange horses at Fujieda. At left, a worker unloads a heavy crate from a horse while his companions arrange freight. At right, an official with a record book chats with travelers as he enters fares. A handsome, close-up scene of life along the Tokaido Road.

Image Size - 8 3/4" x 13 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Very slight remnants of paper and linen hinge mounts on reverse at two points along top edge. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases, very slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
