Beauty with a Goldfish Bowl

Comments - Lovely portrait of a beauty holding a bowl with two goldfish in it, smiling as she looks down, the handle of her fan caught beneath her chin. She wears a sheer black kimono with a white crosshatch design over a red under robe, tied with a red obi with black and white patterned bands. Her hair is pulled back into a sleek bun, adorned with a few hairpins, ribbons, and a cluster of small white flowers. An attractive Edo era design by a rarely seen artist.

Artist - Kuniyasu (1794 - 1832)

Image Size - 15 1/4" x 10 3/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. A couple small losses, a few holes, repaired. Slight toning, soiling, creasing, and rubbing. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
