Comments - Attractive scene of the Meiji Emperor and Empress on an outing to view cherry blossoms. The emperor sits at a cloth-covered table at right, dressed in a military uniform, the table set with refreshments. The empress stands in the center, gesturing with a fan as she looks back at one of the many attendants surrounding the couple. Beauties stroll along the shore at left under a canopy of pink and white blossoms. A handsome triptych with a lovely natural setting and vibrant color. Detailed with delicate embossing in the white kimono collars. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three attached panels, backed with paper. Creasing, slight soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
