Rolling a Snowball

Comments - Charming portrait of a young beauty rolling a large snowball, resting her hands atop it as she looks back over her shoulder. She wears a kimono patterned with the takaramono or precious things, lucky objects such as a sacred jewel, a key, a straw raincoat that can make the wearer fly, and a hat that conveys invisibility, trimmed with a bow and ribbons on the sleeves. Her hair falls straight over her shoulders. An attractive Edo era design.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with paper. Tear, a few losses and small holes, repaired. Toning, soiling, a few creases, stain. Please see photos for details.
