Original Bakufu Ohno (1888 - 1976) Japanese Woodblock Print
Cherry Blossoms

Comments - Charming spring scene of a songbird perched in blossoming cherry tree, its beak open as it sings. Two varieties of cherry trees are shown, one with double pink blossoms and the other with single white flowers. A shower of delicate pink petals falls through the sky, which is softly shaded from blue to green, an indication of a first edition. A lovely design, published by Kyoto Hanga-in.

Image Size - 14 3/8" x 9 1/2" + margins as shown
