Comments - Interesting diptych depicting heroes, featuring five men and one woman. The figure at upper right is Hojo Tokimasa, while Minamoto no Yoshitsune sits below holding a sword in one hand and a fan in the other. The seated beauty is Hojo Masako, the eldest daughter of Hojo Tokimasa and the wife of first Shogun Minamoto no Yoritomo. The left panel features Ema Koshiro at top, the nobleman Hiroshimoto at the center dressed in court robes and cap, and the Shogun Minamoto no Sanetomo at bottom, gripping a sword with a gun lying on the floor behind him. A handsome design.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two separate panels. Small loss, a few thinning spots at edges, repaired. Slight soiling, faint staining at edges, a few light creases and paper remnants at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
