Kokkosha Meiji Era Reprints - Handsome woodblock from a series of classic Ukiyo-e images published by during the Meiji era by Kokkosha Printing Company of Tokyo. Kokkosha was active in publishing woodblocks and books during the Meiji and Taisho eras. These terrific early 20th century woodblocks feature fine detail, lovely subtle color, and soft bokashi shading, beautifully replicating the original masterworks. Prints by Kokkosha are rarely seen in the Western market, and are a wonderful choice to collect or display.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight thinning and paper remnants on reverse at top corners from previous folio mounting. Toning, a few spots and creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
