These images are beautifully detailed with extremely fine line work in the hair and soft bokashi shading in the background. Some feature deluxe publishing techniques such as embossing or burnishing. A rarely seen Kunichika bijin series from early in his career.

Beauty Tying Her Obi - Handsome portrait of a beauty tying her obi, bring the ends of the brown brocade fabric around to the front as she holds a narrow blue sash between her teeth. She leans forward with a smile as she works, her hair pulled back into a smooth bun adorned with a comb, a few hairpins, and a white ribbon. Beautifully detailed with fine line work in the hair, embossing in the blue sash and white kimono collar, and soft shading in the background. A rarely seen Kunichika beauty series.
