Beauty at a Shrine - Attractive scene of a beauty visiting a shrine in springtime. She begins to unfold her Western style umbrella as she smiles over her shoulder at pigeons pecking at the ground. The stone pillar of a torii gate can be seen at left, with a flowering cherry tree beyond and a bridge over a pond at upper right. A charming subject, nicely detailed, from a rarely seen Kunichika beauty series.
