Comments - Handsome view of the modern steel Azuma Bridge over the Sumida River in Tokyo, which opened in 1887. Pedestrians share the roadway with a rickshaw and a soldier on horseback. An interesting Meiji subject.

Image Size - 13 1/4" x 8 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print excellent color and detail as shown. Backed with paper. Tear, a few losses and holes, repaired. Soiling, ink offsetting, slight rubbing and creasing.. Please see photos for details.
