Series; Children's Manners and Customs (Kodomo fuzoku)

Blindfolded Race, 1897 - Intriguing scene of two girls racing with blindfolds. Each has a sighted helper to guide or direct the runner, gently holding her by the waist and urging her forward. The girls wear colorful kimono and obi, and the background is scattered with clouds of confetti-like shapes adding graphic interest.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse from previous backing. Vertical fold near left edge. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
