Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Nakamura Shikan V, grinning happily as he looks up. He wears an intricately patterned blue and white vest over a black kimono and red under robe, a folded fan extending from beneath one of his sleeves. His garments bear the crossed scroll crest of the Nakamura line of actors. Nicely detailed with fine line work in the hair and soft shading in the background.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Wormhole and loss at top corner, slight separation at end of fold at left edge, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few light creases at edges, very small tear at edge. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
