Comments - Lovely contemporary view of the waterfront, with buildings crowded together along the shore. The water is rendered in beautiful, rich shades of green, with reflections shimmering on the surface. A few boats in the foreground at lower right add a sense of depth and lead the viewer into the picture. A burst of light yellow-green foliage in the center beyond the rooftops contrasts with the textured gray and yellow hillside filling the background against a gray sky. A rare, limited edition Tokuriki print, pencil signed in bottom margin and numbered 109/150. Dated "Showa 58" (1983) in lower right margin. A handsome design, nicely composed, with an interesting color palette.
