Series; Place-names of the East
Snow at Mukojima - Attractive view of Mukojima in winter, a boatman poling his raft along the Sumida River, past birds floating on the water. A few pleasure boats are anchored near the shore, and steps lead up the snow-covered embankment to a stone torii gate. At right, two figures make their way along the bank, heading into the wind. A handsome, peaceful scene.
