Pulling Loincloth Harimaze - Interesting harimaze design by Kyosai, who was known for his humorous prints. Harimaze were woodblock prints featuring small scenes designed to be cut apart and pasted into albums or applied to screens. These prints come from a series titled "Cartoons by Kyosai". Very much in his style, they include humorous illustrations rarely seen in harimaze prints. An intriguing group of images.
