Working Beauty, 1866 - Terrific kabuki print showing a young woman with a bamboo rake and a basket of leaves on her back - perhaps mulberry leaves for silk making. She wears a lighthearted kimono with designs of tops and children's toys. The two insets above include verses by different poets. A handsome portrait.
