Viewing Maple Leaves

Comments - Charming design of two Heian era beauties viewing maples leaves in autumn. They stand beside a fence enclosing an overgrown garden filled with tall grasses, one woman holding a branch of colorful leaves, stretching out her flowing sleeve to collect some of the falling leaves. The background is scattered with silver and gold mica flecks that have oxidized to darker tones. A nice choice for display.
