Series; Inner Chiyoda Palace (Chiyoda no Ooku)

Wedding Ceremony - Attractive scene of a wedding taking place at the Inner Chiyoda Palace. The groom sits at right, looking ahead with a serious expression. many offering trays are arranged on the floor before him, set with different types of food. A low table at top center features symbols of longevity and good luck for the couple's future, including a bonsai pine tree and a crane. Several ladies-in-waiting attend the ceremony, the beauty in the center carrying a tray stacked with red lacquer sake cups. Lovely embossed detail on the white collars and kimono of the attendants. A handsome design.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two separate panels. Slight toning and soiling, a few stains, slight rubbing and a few creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
