Comments - Rare set comprised of a finished print of a bunraku puppet stage setting for the play "Kamakura Sandai Ki" along with a cherry wood printing block. This a key block for the black lines on the print, including the front of the house, the well under the tree at left, and the mountains in the background with bonfires rising into the night sky. An incredible and rare opportunity to purchase an original block used for printing, along with the finished print. A great set clearly illustrating the intricate carving and technical complexities of the Japanese woodblock printing process. A terrific choice for a serious collector.
Please note: Due to the weight of the block, an additional shipping charge of $40 will apply for international orders.
