Comments - Lovely early Hokusai design from his series of landscapes done in a Western style. An appealing image of a summer day, with travelers making their way up the steep slope of Kudan Hill. Beautiful soft color and excellent detail, including touches of embossing in the clouds streaking across the sky at left. Printed on tan paper to simulate an aged appearance.
