Series; Mirror of Eternal Feminine Virtue, circa 1843

Courtesy or Decorum - Attractive scene of a woman bowing respectfully, leaning forward with both hands place over her knees. She wears a black kimono bordered with ginkgo leaves and grasses, tied with a green geometric print obi scattered with pink flowers. A young girl stands behind her, mostly hidden by the large knot of the obi. A handsome design for the virtue of courtesy or decorum.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Loss at upper right edge, repaired. Slight toning and rubbing, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
