47 Ronin, Act 8: The Bridal Journey (Michiyuki) - Attractive scene from Act 8 of the classic drama about the 47 ronin, the "Kanadehon Chushingura." Here, the beauty Konami and her mother Tonase pause for a rest during the bridal journey to reunite Tonase with her betrothed, Oboshi Rikiya, the son of the ronin leader Oboshi Yuranosuke. The young beauty smiles at gestures to the side while her mother sits on a tree stump, lifting her hat to admire the view. Mt. Fuji rises majestically in the distance. A charming subject.
