July: Bathing in the Sea - Charming image of women and children enjoying an afternoon at the seashore in the month of July. In the center, a kneeling woman gathers shells, collecting them in her overturned straw hat. A moth and daughter wade through the water, the woman wearing a striped bathing suit, her hair wrapped in a blue and white towel. At right, a young man sits on the beach, digging into a tobacco pouch to fill his pipe as waves lap against the sand. A large red sun sinks towards the horizon in the distance. A wonderful design detailed with fine bokashi shading and touches of burnishing and embossing.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three separate panels. Small hole, repaired. Slight toning and spotting, slight creasing and soiling. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
