Senso Temple in the Snow

Comments - Attractive winter view of Senso Temple, with a mother and daughter standing on the verandah in the foreground. A pagoda rises among the bare trees at right, their branches covered with snow, with other temple buildings and rooftops below. The red eaves and railings create bright notes of color against the white snow and softly shaded gray sky. A lovely scene.

Artist - Kiyochika (1847 - 1915)

Image Size - 8" x 12 1/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight separation along vertical centerfold, repaired. Light toning and soiling, a few creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
