A Cuckoo's Call on the Morning After - Attractive portrait of a beauty going down the stairs, pausing to look over her shoulder with a sad expression, a letter in her hand. Her peach-colored kimono features a design of butterflies and grasses, with a green border of sparrows and bamboo. Her hair is pulled back into a smooth bun adorned with many hairpins and combs. At oval inset at upper left shows a man under an umbrella walking home in the early morning. A handsome design, also in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Diagonal centerfold. A few wormholes, repaired. Toning, soiling, slight creasing, slight rubbing at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
