Precincts of the Shiba Shinmei Shrine, circa 1832 - 1838 - Intriguing view of the precincts of Shiba Shinmei Shrine with a procession making its way under a gate and torii gate. Shops line the street, with women and men crowding the road. A temple building rises at right, and clouds drift across the scene. A handsome composition and a rarely seen Hiroshige design, also in the collection of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Vertical centerfold. Losses at edge, wormholes, separation at ends of fold. Slight toning and soiling, rubbing at edges, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
