Beauty Powdering Her Neck

Comments - Charming portrait of a beauty powdering her neck, holding a hand mirror up behind her head as she looks into a small mirror propped against a roll of tissues. The tissues and a makeup brush sit on a makeshift stand made from a tray stacked atop a go board. At left, a black lacquer tray on the floor holds a bowl of water with a toothbrush and a packet of tooth powder. A rectangular inset above shows a beauty helping a man dress, adjusting the sleeve of his plaid kimono. A wonderfully detailed image.

Image Size - 14 5/8" x 10"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical fold near left edge. Losses and wormholes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
