Hokusai's Pictures of a Journey - Handsome design from "Hokusai's Pictures of a Journey" (Hokusai Dochu Gafu), a series depicting travel and life along the Tokaido Road. These marvelous scenes show travelers from both far away and up close, from tiny figures wandering through expansive landscapes to details of people stopping at the various sights and stations along the highway. Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Two attached panels. Slight paper remnants on reverse at top center from previous mounting. Slight soiling, a few light creases at edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
