Kaian Temple, 1862 - Handsome view of the grounds of Kaian Temple, a popular site for viewing maple leaves in autumn. Three men chat outside a tea stand at left, while two beauties mount the slope at right beneath the colorful trees, which frame a view of the ocean beyond. An attractive subject.
