Spring Snow

Comments - A lovely Kiyonaga scene of young beauties looking out over a garden in the early springtime. An unexpected early spring snow covers the ground, blanketing the courtyard and shrubs. One woman lounges on the floor while another sips sake from a shallow red lacquer cup. A nicely detailed setting, with soft color and fine line work.

Artist - Kiyonaga (1752 - 1815)

Image Size - 14 3/4" x 9 7/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at top corners from previous mounting. Toning, slight spotting and soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
