Comments - Terrific modern woodblock of a crescent moon above a mountain in black silhouette. The moon is encircled by a narrow band of black shapes, set against a beautifully colored blue sky that is shaded to violet above the peak. A striking design with lovely textures. This print was used as a holiday greeting card by the Yoseido Gallery, with printed message inside. The Yoseido Gallery has been in business since 1953, and is currently located in the Ginza in Tokyo. A great image with an interesting provenance.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Mounted along top edge to blank card, could be removed. Small crease at top of print. Card has a few creases, slight soiling, and slight wear at corners. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
