Amanohashidate - The Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage Handsome design from a series depicting the Saigoku Kannon Pilgrimage. The route includes 33 temples in Western Japan that are dedicated to Kannon, the Buddhist goddess of mercy. Each temple is associated with a miracle performed by Kannon. The prints include landscape views of temples and illustrations of pilgrims making their way along the route. Each is rendered in a very painterly style, with soft muted colors contrasting with lively calligraphic line work. An nice image from an interesting series.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Toning, a few light creases, paper inclusion at left edge. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
