Comments - Quiet winter scene of a fisherman in a straw raincoat and hat walking along the edge of Hinuma or Hi Marsh as snow falls heavily, blanketing the trees and ground. His boat is moored near the shore among the reeds, the water a light gray green shaded with blue. The pine trees frame of view of the opposite shore in the distance, adding a sense of depth. Lovely color in a subdued palette of blue grays and gray greens. A beautiful, evocative image with fine bokashi shading.
