From an untitled Chushingura series

47 Ronin, Act 8: Michiyuki (The Bride's Journey), 1862 - Nice kabuki double portrait of the young Konami and her mother, Tonase, as they journey to Yuranosuke's estate near Kyoto, where Konami will marry Yuranosuke's son, Rikiya. Here, the beauty looks up with a rather alarmed expression, her mouth slightly agape as she throws her sleeve up beside her. She wears a red floral kimono, her hair adorned with a cluster of small flowers and many ribbons. Tonase looks warily over her shoulder, a pipe in one hand and the other resting atop a walking staff. She wears a broad woven hat for traveling, tied under her chin with a red cord. The background features an allover embossed pattern, with blue and yellow clouds and Yuranosuke's family crest of two inverted commas. The actors are Bando Hikosaburo V as Tonase and Sawamura Tossho II as Konami. A handsome design, detailed with additional embossing in the white kimono trim.
