Kisegawa of the Matsubaya - Classic Utamaro beauty portrait of the elegant courtesan Kisegawa of the Matsubaya. She holds a round fan patterned with morning glories, the ribs delicately embossed, and touches the underside of her chin with her other hand. Wonderful detail in the fine hairline, with a shimmering silver mica background. Seldom seen in reprint.
