Beauty beside a Brazier

Comments - Attractive portrait of a beauty kneeling beside a brazier filled with glowing red coals. She smiles as she looks up over her shoulder, tucking one hand inside her robe. She wears a green and black kimono patterned with Genji symbols and carriage wheels, tied with a black and brown print obi. The scene above depicts a temple perched on a hilltop above a city, framed by tall pine trees with the rooftops spreading out below beneath the falling snow. A charming image, nicely detailed.

Artist - Kunimasa (1773 - 1810)

Image Size - 14 5/8" x 9 5/8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Small thinning spot. Faint toning, a few small spots and light creases. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
