Beauty with an Umbrella - Beautiful aizuri-e portrait of a beauty strolling along under an umbrella. She tilts her head to the side, looking out of the corners of her eyes, as she pauses beside a barrel with a bamboo lid resting atop blocks. Her kimono is shaded from navy to lighter blue with a border of white cherry blossoms, lined with a brighter blue, which also appears on the brocade obi. A rare and lovely example of aizuri-e, prints done primarily in tones of blue.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical center fold. Small losses, a few wormholes and thinning spots, repaired. Slight soiling and creasing, slight rubbing near edges. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
