Drastic Price Reduction Moved to Clearance, Act Fast! - Attractive design of the beauty O-Ino kneeling behind her husband, the samurai Seki Testu no Suke, helping him to dress. When O-Ino was just eighteen, her husband participated in the assassination of Chief Minister Ii Naosuke. After Seki was captured, O-Ino became a nun and committed suicide. Here, she holds up the back of his blue striped hakama pants as he tucks his olive green kimono into them. A box behind her holds a black robe, and his swords rest on the floor nearby. A large round window opens out onto a lovely view of a blossoming plum tree. The sliding panel at the bottom of the niche at left features a landscape design, the white background delicately embossed with a cloth texture. Beautiful color and fine line work in this handsome print.
