Comic Tanuki Scene

Comments - Incredible comic scene depicting tanuki or raccoon dogs, typically depicted with wildly exaggerated scrotums, symbolic of good fortune and wealth. Often shown as mischievous pranksters, the tanuki at right hefts his enlarged body part over his shoulder, accidentally knocking down three men and overturning a tobacco set. The seated tanuki at right laugh and point at the surprised men, each animal dressed in kimono. Another tanuki at upper right carries his heavy scrotum over his shoulder as well as he strolls past a large orange brocade bag patterned with swirling yellow clouds. At upper left, a young beauty giggles to herself at the sight, holding her hand to her forehead. A fantastic comedic design featuring the legendary Japanese tanuki.
