Two Beauties Pillar Print

Comments - Beautiful pillar print design of two young beauties, the woman at left carrying folded tissues in one hand. She wears a blue kimono bordered with bamboo leaves over a pink and white tie-dyed under robe, tied with an intricately patterned obi. Her companion lifts the edge of her plum colored robe as she walks, turning to look at her friend. A classic Edo era beauty subject, drawn with graceful flowing line work. A rare subject to find in reprint.

Artist - Koryusai (1735 - 1790)

Image Size - 26 1/2" x 5 1/8"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A few creases, light stain at lower right edge. Please note: folded by publisher for storage, will be shipped folded, could be flattened to frame. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
