Series; The Fashionable Seven Komachi

Seki Temple - Attractive design of a beauty playing a shamisen in a parody of one of the seven famous episodes from the life of the Heian era poet Ono no Komachi. She smiles as she looks over her shoulder at the young boy leaning lovingly against her arm. The boy wears a green and white plaid kimono, his head shaved. The beauty's hair is pulled back into a smooth bun adorned with a comb, a few hairpins, and a blue ribbon. A charming subject, rarely seen in reprint.

Image Size - 14 7/8" x 10" + margins as shown
