Okegawa: Matsumoto Kinsho II - Handsome kabuki portrait of Matsumoto Kinsho II as a nobleman, looking over his shoulder with an unhappy frown. He wears an elegant gray floral coat over a light blue kimono with a matching print, his hand resting atop an ornate pipe. His hair is pulled back into a sleek topknot tied with a white cord and combed smoothly forward. The landscape above shows the rooftops of Okegawa nestled at the foot of mountains dotted with pine trees. Nicely detailed with embossing in the white kimono trim and fine bokashi shading in the background.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - Approximately 14" x 9 1/2"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical crease at center. A few smallholes repaired from reverse. Slight toning as shown. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
