Beauty and Dog

Series; Five Features of Beauties

Beauty and Dog - Charming Utamaro design of a young woman cradling a dog in her arms. She smiles as she looks ahead, one hand resting on the animal's back. She wears a solid gray kimono with a white crest on each sleeve and a black collar, worn over a red under robe with purple tie-dyed trim. Her hair is piled high in a smooth bun anchored with a hairpin, a few loose wisps framing her face. A delightful subject, rarely seen in reprint.

Artist - Utamaro (1750 - 1806)

Image Size - 14 3/4" x9 5/8" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
