Beauty Carrying a Parcel Kakemono

Comments - Beautiful kakemono or vertical diptych of a smiling young beauty carrying a parcel wrapped in cloth under her arm. She lifts the hem of her kimono as she walks, revealing a red under robe. She wears a blue kimono patterned with gray maple leaves and pink-edge blossoms, lined in green, with an intricately patterned striped obi. A lovely Edo era beauty subject that would make an attractive display.

Artist - Eizan (1787 - 1867)

Image Size - 28 7/8" x 10" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Two separate panels. A few small wormholes, small tear, repaired. Toning, slight soiling and creasing. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
