Comments - Lovely atmospheric view of an old village near the Iidabashi Bridge. A few boats move along the quiet water as the sun begins to set, the distant trees shaded in soft violet beneath a pale orange sky. The shadows of the houses are beautifully reflected in the water, demonstrating Toshi Yoshida's masterful depiction of the qualities of light and shade. Wonderful color and fine bokashi shading in this handsome design. Pencil signed in bottom margin.
