I Want to Cancel My Subscription - Wonderful portrait of a beauty lying on the floor with a newspaper or magazine spread out before her, eagerly reading the text. She smiles happily with what appears to be genuine enjoyment, as expression somewhat at odds with the specified desire of wanting to cancel her subscription. She wears a boldly checked black and green kimono with a burnished black collar over a finely striped under robe. A cat sits atop a chest at left, closing its eyes sleepily. A great design with fine detail in the hair and delicate embossing in the cat's fur. This image appears on page 105 of the recent book "Yoshitoshi: Masterpieces from the Ed Friess Collection." One of the best subjects from the series.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Vertical centerfold, now flattened. A few small thinning spots, repaired. Light toning and faint spotting at left edge, slight soiling, slight rubbing near edges, a few wrinkles. Please see photos for details. Good overall.
