Series; Renowned Beauties Likened to the Six Immortal Poets

Tomimoto Toyohina - Lovely portrait of the beauty Tomimoto Toyohina holding a folding fan. She tugs at the collar of her white under robe as she looks ahead, a white cloth pinned protectively around her elegant hairstyle. She wears a sheer, striped black outer kimono over a red robe with a cherry blossoms design, the rosy color faintly visible through the gauzy fabric. The picture puzzle in the upper right inset sounds like the beauty's name. An attractive design with a fine embossed geometric pattern in the white collar and embossing on the folding fan.

Artist - Utamaro (1750 - 1806)

Image Size - 15" x 10" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A few light creases at corners. Please see photos for details. Nice overall.
